Daytona Twin Tec Fully Programmable Ignition

This nosecone style ignition is an upgrade from the non-adjustable stock OEM unit, and features advanced electronics set into a machined billet aluminum housing. Four rotary switches are used to set the operating modes (such as single or dual fire), adjust the timing advance, and select the RPM limit. Two diagnostic LED's indicate the status and the state of the vacuum switch (VOES). The status LED is also used to indicate top dead center (TDC) for easy timing set-up. A special feature allows use of the tachometer wire for a link to a laptop PC. While the customer does not require the PC link for any normal set-up or operation, it can be used to access additional features for precise dyno tuning (such as programming a custom advance curve and setting rear cylinder timing offset). Windows compatible software is freely available for download at the company website. PC link cable sold separately. Note: Sportster� models from 1971 thru 1982 and Big Twins from 1970 thru 1983 require that mechanical advance units and point ignitions, or early electronic ignitions and rotors be replaced by an OEM #32402-83 ignition timing rotor (Part# 59725)

Fits most models from 1970 thru 1999 (excluding Sportster� 1200cc models 1998-up) usingstock style electronic ignition trigger rotor (not included)
